Pfizer 'FACTORy' app wins Pfizer Human Health global award
The Pfizer 'FACTORy' programme, developed in New Zealand by bcg2 Health in collaboration with Spitfire, then launched into Australia, has won a Pfizer Human Health global award for commercial excellence and innovation. Pfizer 'FACTORy' was selected for one of eight awards from 278 entries from Pfizer subsidiaries around the world.
Pfizer 'FACTORy' is a support programme linking health care professionals and their patients in the treatment of haemophilia. Pfizer 'FACTORy' helps monitor a patient's condition, through an i-Phone app that records and transmits important medical information through a secure online database to their nominated health care professional.
On the back of this award there have been expressions of interest to adapt the Pfizer 'FACTORy' platform for other global markets.
