LETTER OF APOLOGY AT THE DIRECTION OF THE COMMERCE COMMISSION

You may have recently seen, heard or even been one of the lucky thousands that’s sampled Stanley Bung - Premium Quality Pale Ale. In recent media coverage, on the label and in marketing materials we make the statement 'made from blood, sweat and pubes' and go further to make claims that the all natural ingredients consist of only malted barley, hops, water syphoned from the Nihotupa Dam and a sprinkling of Stanley Bung's ginger beard and pubes. The commerce commission has ruled that this statement is not entirely correct for reasons as outlined below:

It is not entirely possible to syphon water from the Nihotupu dam. To do this we would need to have the brewery situated within 100 metres of the dam for the syphoning action to work. Stanley Bung Premium Quality Pale Ale is not brewed 100 metres from the dam but rather 22km away in a brewery in Hupai.

For this statement we apologise for any inconvenience should we have mislead the public. All other statements are true.
